UC spec includes -
Filtration rating 10 micron.
Filtration surface area within “Spin-on” cartridge 500cm2.
Bleed & retaining screws all marine grade stainless steel.
Billet aluminium filter head protected with anti corrosion anodise finish.
Valve - nickel plated brass with stainless steel internals & PTFE seat.
All seals green Viton rubber throughout.
Attention to detail - all our testing is carried out on Shetland in real (extremely harsh) conditions, not in a laboratory!
The vast majority of components are produced within an hour’s drive of our base. For example our two-piece brass flare outlet fitting suitable for 10mm soft copper tube is CNC machined down the road in Tividale, West Midlands & the resin dome badge from Hartlebury, Worcestershire - equally just down the road.
