Tube Liner - 10mm "Snug Fit"

The product is made in England, CNC machined from quality brass bar.

Purpose - to support the inside of soft copper tube 6mm through to 15mm O/D when used in conjunction with ALL types of compression fittings, making them “Type A” and thus compliant with Building Regulations / OFTEC standards etc.

Difference between snug-fit & loose-fit - “Snug-Fit” tube liners are unique to the SOS / UC brands. They do what it says on the tin so to speak. Our industry tends to allow a greater gap between liner and tube leading to our name for these of “Loose-Fit”.

In short, if you don’t wish to be bothered with reaming the inner burr from the soft copper tube, created by the cutting wheel of all types of “wheel type” tube cutters then choose the loose variant. However, if you’re looking for a better fit, thus a better job, then de-burr the pipe and fit the snug variant.

We supply “Snug-Fit” brass tube liners suitable for the following pipe sizes -
6mm, 8mm, 10mm & 15mm

In addition, we also supply the 10mm unit in a “Loose-Fit” format.

• 10mm - 10s, 25s, 50s & 100s (both types: Snug/Loose).
