Straight / in-line Service Valve - 10mm compression inlet x 1/4” BSP MP outlet

Our “Best” range of both angled and straight/in-line fuel isolation valves currently totals four units. However, this is set to change soon, with the addition of a further four units currently in design. 

Angled - 10mm compression inlet x 1/4” BSP MP outlet

Perceived by many technicians as the “unofficial upgrade” for the red-handled, short-threaded unit depicted below. “Best” valves benefit from internal seals of green Viton rubber, a long outlet thread thus suitable for any type of flexible fuel hose, plus a “bonded-on” green operating lever.

The original, red-handled unit has internal seals of black Nitrile rubber, a short outlet thread, and a “pushed-on” operating lever.

An advantage for any technician wishing to upgrade a failed red-handled unit to the new green-handled valve is that the compression nut and olive are identical. Therefore no requirement to replace the original nut and olive already fitted to the 10mm O/D soft copper tube, if they are both in a serviceable condition.

Not forgetting the need to add a suitable tube liner if not already fitted. Note: we supply two variants of tube liner, our own “Snug-Fit” brass unit or the more generic “Loose-Fit” version.

Angled - 10mm compression inlet x 3/8” BSP MP outlet

As with the 1/4” BSP unit above, these bulk-head valves are an ideal method for safely and professionally making the transition from 10mm O/D soft copper tube to any type of flexible fuel hose using the casing or chassis of the appliance to anchor the valve/transition fitting.

The right-angle design is perfect for the vast majority of applications/installations.

Straight/in-line - 10mm compression inlet x 1/4” BSP MP outlet

Benefitting from bulkhead locknuts at both the 10mm compression (3/8” BSP) inlet and 1/4” BSP outlet, this valve also has the lever supplied loose.

As the unit is multi-directional (i.e lever can face inlet or outlet.) Everything about this valve reinforces the ability to truly own the term “Universal” - a perfect van stock item.

Straight/in-line - 10mm compression inlet x 3/8” BSP MP outlet

The 3/8” BSP bulkhead locknut provided fits both inlet and outlet side of the valve. As with the 1/4” straight variant above, this valve has the lever supplied loose, as it is multi-directional (i.e lever can face the inlet or outlet), again making this unit quite the “Universal” item.

Yet again, another ideal van stock item for the professional service or installation technician.

Compatibility - the entire “Best” fuel isolation valve range is suitable for use with all fossil heating fuels, biofuel blends, and 100% biofuels including HVO (hydrotreated vegetable oil.)
